Federal Contractors' Forum

Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers looking to increase their knowledge of Federal Contracts Law are urged to join Jacksonville attorney James E. Krause at the monthly meetings of the Federal Contractors Forum.

Presented in association with the National Contract Management Association, these breakfast meetings are typically held at the University Club in Jacksonville from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on the 4th Thursday of each month.

Each monthly meeting features a presentation by Jim Krause on a Federal construction and contracting issue. The open meeting format allows participants to ask questions, raise issues, and present situational examples to discuss. The $20.00 registration price includes a full breakfast.

Federal Contract Law requires a thorough knowledge of Federal acquisition law, regulations, rules, and procedures. Each separate Federal agency interprets and enforces Federal laws, rules and regulations, whether procurement or regulatory issues. In addition to Federal procurement law, it is critical a Federal contractor understands and complies with a host of other Federal regulatory law.

Public contracting requires significantly different business practices than private industry. Through his vast legal experience and as a published author of articles advising the construction industry regarding Federal and Public contract law, Mr. Krause is well prepared to assist contractors in navigating their businesses through these complex areas, including counseling clients regarding Federal Contracting Compliance and Procedures and Small Business establishment and issues all the way through contract closeouts.

Jim hosts a Federal Contractors' Forum every month with topics ranging from the FAR to Source Selection and everything in between.
